Air Canada provides information for customers
travelling to and from Frankfurt and Munich, Germany
MONTRÉAL, July 29, 2008 – Lufthansa, Air Canada’s service provider in Frankfurt and Munich, Germany, is currently experiencing a labour disruption.
As a result of this labour disruption, it is possible that Air Canada flights to and from these two cities might be delayed. Connecting passengers who are citizens of countries whose nationals require visas to enter Germany are advised to contact Air Canada Reservations.
In addition flights departing Frankfurt and Munich might not be provisioned with the usual refreshments and meals, including pre-ordered special meals.
Customers with flights to and from Frankfurt and Munich, as well as passengers with connecting flights to and from Lufthansa cancelled flights, who wish to make alternative travel arrangements can do so without penalty, space permitting through Air Canada Reservations at 1-888-247-2262; TTY hearing impaired: 1-800-361-8071. Certain conditions may apply.
Air Canada is doing all possible to mitigate any inconvenience and will continue to monitor the situation very closely to focus on minimizing its impact on customers.
