Change of policy on carriage of pets To effectively handle the high volume of baggage loads and meet the needs of the vast majority of our passengers, effective July 15, 2007 pets will no longer be accepted as checked baggage on domestic flights, and, pending Canadian Transportation Agency approval, on international and transborder flights. Bookings already made will be honoured. Customers wishing to transport pets have the option to do so through Air Canada Cargo, where the Cargo team have a specialized "live animal travel" program and are able to plan the best flights for pets to travel on. |
