Effective June 2, Air Canada will extend its Electronic Ticket only fares to include all fares on E Tickets eligible routes between Canada and the USA. Transborder fare types will be issued as E Tickets with the exception of non-Electronic Ticket eligible routes.

Effective 13th January 2003, Electronic Ticketing will be enforced for all intra-Canada routes. Customers can no longer be offered an alternative between ET and paper tickets.

'ET only' applies to:

1. all tickets issued in ET eligible points of sale for travel on wholly Domestic itineraries on Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz operated routes, e.g.

'ET only' does not apply to:

1. tickets issued for travel on routes handled or operated by a 3rd tier carrier, e.g. Calm Air, First air, Air Creebec, Aviation Quebec Labrador, Pacific Coastal, Air Norterra and Central Mountain Air.
2. tickets issued in a non ET eligible Point Of Sale, e.g. agent in CDG sells YYZ/YUL/YYZ.
