Mobile Services

Air Canada Mobile Services allow customers to access current travel information at any time from web-enabled, wireless phones or other handheld devices. In June 2001, Air Canada became the first carrier in Canada to offer its customers this next-generation technology.

Features

Using Air Canada Mobile Services, customers can:

  • Register from a wireless phone or on the Air Canada web site to receive real-time departure/arrival flight status updates to their text-enabled phone, communication device, pager, or email address;
  • Check real-time departure/arrival information for all Air Canada/Air Canada Jazz flights;
  • View Air Canada schedules;
  • Check their Aeroplan account balance with their Aeroplan and PIN number;
  • Get contact information for Air Canada Reservations and Aeroplan.

Access

  • Customers can access Air Canada Mobile Services through major wireless service providers by entering mobile.aircanada.ca of their web-enabled phone or communication device;
  • A number of wireless service providers including Bell Mobility, MTS Mobility, Rogers AT&T Wireless, SaskTel Mobility, Microcell and TELUS Mobility offer their subscribers direct access to Air Canada Mobile Services in the Travel category of their respective menus;
  • The airline’s Mobile Services are available according to the various wireless service providers’ networks.
