Susan Welscheid Vice President, Customer Service In-Flight, Call Centres & Customer Relations
Sue Welscheid was appointed Vice President, In-Flight Service in August 2004 and assumed responsibility for Call Centres and Customer Relations in February 2007.
Since December 1999, Sue was Vice President, People, where she was responsible for overseeing the human resource functions of the airline. An Air Canada employee for over 27 years, Sue has held various positions in many different branches of the airline including Marketing, Corporate Communications, Office of the President, Customer Service Support and Airports. She has also led a number of special projects in the areas of customer service, corporate image and employee involvement.
A native of Geneva, Switzerland, Sue completed her post-secondary education in the United Kingdom and at the American College of Switzerland. Prior to joining Air Canada, Sue worked as a journalist/editor in London and South Africa as well as for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva and for LTV Aerospace in Paris, France.
