Daniel Shurz
Vice President, Network Planning

Daniel Shurz was appointed Vice President, Network Planning in August 2006. In this role, he has overall responsibility for the network planning, scheduling, revenue management, and strategic forecasting functions for all Air Canada and Jazz flights world wide.

Daniel joined Air Canada in 2005 as Senior Director, Air Canada Airports, responsible for airport operations, including the streamlining and simplification of various processes to improve operational efficiencies.

Prior to joining Air Canada, Daniel held a number of positions in the Planning and Finance Divisions at United Airlines and also worked for the Chicago Transit Authority. Daniel holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA from the University of Cambridge.
