The Air Canada Graduate program has allowed me to gain valuable working experience in many different areas of the airline. Having worked in Technical Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, Corporate Communications, Finance and Labour Relations, I have been privileged in the exciting and challenging opportunities I have had to put into practice my engineering and business administration backgrounds. In my current role as General Manager, Cabin Crew Planning and Scheduling within the In-flight Service Branch, I get to really feel the pulse of the airline from a daily operational perspective and I am brought to contribute to the longer term staffing strategies for Cabin Personnel. The Graduate program has allowed me to gain a holistic perspective of this exciting industry.

"My career at Air Canada started in 1988. I had just graduated in Industrial Engineering when I joined the Company through the Graduate Program. The integration process using coaching and exposure to company operations and business plans was rapid, effective and quite exciting. I was able to see quite quickly the career and challenges that lay ahead for me.
"The airline industry is fascinating and working in a company in that business is almost a guarantee that your job will bring incredible opportunities for personal and professional growth. My own career path certainly demonstrates this: from Customer Service (in call centres and airports), to Information Technology, Project Management, Assistant to the President and I am now a member of the Star Alliance network Management team... and I can still see plenty of challenges ahead!"
