Shipping non-human primates

In December 2012, Air Canada filed a tariff with the Canadian Transportation Agency enabling it to discontinue the transportation of shipments of non-human primates such as monkeys, intended for laboratory research and/or experimental purposes. The tariff was accepted.

As such, shipments of non-human primates intended for laboratory research and/or experimental purposes cannot be accepted for carriage by Air Canada.

Shipments of non-human primates NOT intended for laboratory research and/or experimental purposes

Air Canada Cargo accepts shipments of non-human primates such as monkeys NOT intended for laboratory research and/or experimental purposes. Such shipments must be accompanied by a shipper's (or the shipper's agent) declaration form stating that the non-human primates are not intended for laboratory research and/or experimental purposes.
