Travel Restrictions
Due to high passenger traffic during the Holiday season, NO pets can be accepted for travel within North America between December 15, 2008 and January 11, 2009
Smaller aircraft types--the E75, E90, CRJ and CR7, for example, cannot offer adequate comfort during colder winter months. On these aircraft, live animals cannot be accepted between November 1st and March 31st, and/or any other time the temperature is below 7 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, due to extreme heat (temperature higher than 29.5 degrees Celsius), we may not be in a capacity to accommodate animals
Large and extra large containers are not accepted on the following aircraft due to size: E75, E90, CRJ and CR7
Toy-sized dogs, puppies and kittens are not recommended in the following aircraft: A319, A320 and A321
Shipment of females in heat (estrus) is not recommended
Females with suckling young and weaned puppies younger than 8 weeks old will not be accepted for air transportation
Note:
Due to extreme heat weather, live animals to and from Denver and Phoenix are subject to an embargo all year-round
Live animals to and from Houston, Las Vegas, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Miami are subject to an embargo between May 15 to September 30 except for rodents from Miami and any aquatic life forms and insects for all stations
