Effective immediately and until further notice at Air Canada Express stations in Canada only, there is a size and weight limitation placed on freight requiring a security screening examination as per the Transport Canada Air Cargo Security Program.
Due to security screening constraints at these stations, freight from unsecure shippers must meet the following conditions to be accepted (per piece):
- Maximum individual piece weight: 77 lbs / 35 kg
- Maximum individual piece width of 29 inches / 74 centimeters
- Maximum individual piece height of 21 inches / 53 centimeters
Please note that these restrictions are temporary and we are working closely with the regulatory authorities to resolve the issue.
